Galo's ONA is about his first mission on the fire team. This was also pretty recent before the actual storyline began, as we see the girl that Galo saved (in his ONA) getting taken by Mad Burnish. After that Lio joins Mad Burnish and eventually becomes their leader at some point in time. In the desert they're attacked by freeze force and Lio saves them. It depicts Mad Burnish going into the city to burn things, and being chased back into the desert. Lio actually wasn't in Mad Burnish at all. In the ONA it shows Mad Burnish before Lio was the leader. I was questioning this myself and I recently watched the Lio side ONA, which sort of answered the question. Yeah so my objective of all this is just to seek enlightenment and confirmation about Lio's age and whether or not he really is the "leader" of Mad Burnish that the "world has been hunting for 30 years" because I am still super skeptic that he is middle-aged. Upon seeing his face, Galo remarks in shock that Lio's just a kid."ĭoes this imply that Lio is younger than Galo?Īnd the next description catches my eye: "A young teenage boy who's got powerful flame powers and a strong will to save his Burnish brethren while determined to not hurt those who are not mutated regardless as to whether they came from the Foresight Foundation or not has proved to be a character strong enough for Gueira and Meis to induct Lio to the position as leader of their organization and give Lio their trust and Undying Loyalty."

I'm not sure if I believe that Lio is really about 30 years old or even older than that. My friend then showed me a video clip of the English dubbed Promare and in the scene, one of the characters says to Galo, "Don't underestimate him, he's the root of all Burnish crime and the world's been hunting him for 30 years. Is Lio the \"leader\" being referred to here? Though I was skeptic about him being older than 30 years. A friend of mine posted a meme saying that "Lio Fotia has been the leader of the Mad Burnish for 30 years" and that made me question Lio's age.
